Seminar:
Algorithms for implementing fast arithmetic for cryptographic applications
Speaker: Dr. Roberto Avanzi
This year, as the inaugural activity of the Maritime Crypto Centre, we will host
a course on Algorithms for implementing fast arithmetic
for cryptographic applications . It will be given by our guest
researcher Dr.
Roberto Avanzi from the Institute for Experimental
Mathematics, University of Duisburg-Essen and Department of Electrical Engineering and
Information Sciences
Ruhr University of Bochum, Germany.
It is hoped that this series of lectures will facilitate exchange of ideas with students interested in cryptography, as well as other researchers willing to expand their knowledge of digital security issues. Active participation is therefore strongly encouraged.
This course is supported in part by Leadership Mount Allison grant #211.
